We will be offering a COVID-responsive VBS this year for 4 year-olds through those completing 4th grade this spring. Volunteers from Grade 5 - adults are needed to make this a success! Click the link above for all of the details and to register. Registration closes June 1.

Now is the time to order your beautiful Wagners' summer annuals, for pick-up at the church just before Mother's Day. Proceeds benefit St. Richard's all-ages Faith Formation Programs. Help us restock the VEAP food pantry and ensure no family goes hungry this spring! Throughout the month of March St. Richard’s Church will be collecting donations for VEAP, the Twin Cities’ largest food pantry. Click to watch the video!

In recent years, the Third Sunday in Advent has meant ADVENTure, an event that brought the parish together to celebrate our ancestral origins by sharing Advent and Christmas traditions, playing games, and performing works of service. This year, because of COVID-19, we are going virtual!

We need your help creating short videos and photos so that the Faith Formation team can create a video collage to be shared with our parish! Send videos (mp3 or mp4 format) and photos (jpg or gif preferred) to Susie Osacho via [email protected], by Thursday, December 10.

When you sign-up, be sure to indicate the number of dinners you are ordering. Please also specify if you want gluten-free noodles. If you are unable to attend, but would like to help this fundraising effort, monetary contributions can be sent to the parish office labeled "Spaghetti Dinner."

We will host flu vaccine clinic on Wednesday, October 7 , from 1:00-2:15pm. This vaccination is free with Medicare and most major insurance plans.

St. Richard & Credo Designs share a similar mission to spread God's love and hope to family, friends and beyond! This fundraiser will support activities such as Sunday morning Faith Formation classes, Sacramental Preparation, Confirmation retreats, Advent/Lent small groups, LEGO Robotics and more!

What are your 3 wishes for our parish to be vibrant in 2025?
As our very successful three year Capital Campaign draws to a close, it is time to re-focus our attention towards intentional planning for the next several years and the future of our parish community. To that end, we began a strategic planning process this spring with some listening sessions involving a cross-section of the parish.

Because we would like to hear everyone’s voice, over three weekends (June 1-16) you have the opportunity to add your insights to this question on our “Vision Board” in the narthex or here on our website. Please join us in visioning the future of our great parish!

Team members range in age from 9 – 14 years and are involved in three team-building components:
1. Building LEGO pieces related to this year’s space theme “Into Orbit”.
2. Programming a robot to accomplish various missions to gain points.
3. Developing a presentation to solve a problem – in this case, how to sustain life on the moon.

In addition to the Sacrament of Confirmation, this weekend our parishioners who have been preparing through the RCIA will be receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time!

We will have rehearsals on April 21 & 28, and sing at Mass on May 6.
