We have secured 94% of the pledges necessary to see all of our projects funded! If you have not yet pledged, please consider what God is calling you to do to help secure the future of St. Richard’s Catholic Church for the next generation and be ready to fill out a pledge card on Commitment Weekend (Saturday/Sunday April 23-24)! If you have already pledged, rest assured that donor intent will be carried out. All campaign pledges go into a separate bank account that will be overseen by the our Finance Council and staff. Projects will go forward as finances and circumstances allow.

On Holy Thursday, we celebrate the priesthood, which Jesus instituted to provide shepherds for his followers once his time on earth was done. This year, our own local Church celebrates the appointment of a new shepherd to lead our archdiocese.

Parishioner Violet Elva Purcell passed to Eternal Life on March 18, 2016. A Memorial Mass will be held here at the church on Friday, May 27, at 11:00am.

A huge thanks goes our to the 298 families who have participated in the capital campaign, which has resulted in $1,003,619 pledged toward our final goal of $1,100,000!

Delores passed to Eternal Life with the Resurrected Christ on March 10. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held here at the church at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 12.

In addition to their monthly payment for using our lot, Bloomington Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram will give our parish $200 any time a new vehicle is purchased by a new customer referred by a parishioner!

Margaret "Peg" Harper has passed to Eternal Life with the Resurrected Christ. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held here at the church at 10:30am on Friday, March 11.
