During Lent, there are certain days on which we are called to observe fasting and abstinence.

It has been a pleasure to share with you this season of Advent and Christmas. I joined the staff as Parish Administrator in early December and have witnessed the spirit of Joy, Peace, Hope and Love in your worship that are the results of your relationship with Jesus Christ.

The ancient office of Compline derives its name form a Latin word meaning 'completion' (completorium). It is above all a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. It is most effective when the ending is indeed an ending, without additions, conversation or noise. If there is an address, or business to be done, it should come first. If the service is in church, those present depart in silence; if at home they go quietly to bed.

$10 per person; $35 for family of 4; $45 for family of 5 or more

When you sign-up, be sure to indicate the number of dinners you are ordering. Please also specify if you want gluten-free noodles. If you are unable to attend, but would like to help this fundraising effort, monetary contributions can be sent to the parish office labeled "Spaghetti Dinner."

We will host flu vaccine clinic on Wednesday, October 7 , from 1:00-2:15pm. This vaccination is free with Medicare and most major insurance plans.

Here is the most recent communication from our local shepherd, outlining some of the safety precautions that will be taken when public Masses are gradually restarted in the Archdiocese.

We still do not have a date for that transition, since developments in the public health crisis are difficult to predict, but do be assured that plans are being made with the well being of all of God's people as the top priority.
