This extended period of isolation brought about by the ongoing pandemic has taken a toll on all of our mental and spiritual health. Take some time to explore these issues with psychologist, Fr. Matthew Malek, in this video presentation shared with us by our friends from St. Joseph in New Hope.
My name is Fr. Jim Liekhus, and I’m very excited to be your new pastor [effective July 1, 2020]. A number of you have already reached out to welcome me to your parish, which lines up perfectly with what Fr. Mark has told me about you: you are very welcoming. And chatty. Fr. What are your 3 wishes for our parish to be vibrant in 2025? As our very successful three year Capital Campaign draws to a close, it is time to re-focus our attention towards intentional planning for the next several years and the future of our parish community. I am generally in the office during morning and afternoon hours, Tuesday - Thursday. I am, however, often off-site for home visits and nursing home prayer services, so if you would like to meet with me, I recommend contacting me in advance to arrange for a time.
Other members of our team are here to provide support during business hours when I am not in the office, however, we do not have emergency or after-hours services.

Each year, we collect supplies to be distributed to our community by VEAP. We have a detailed list of the most need items and we will have a table set up in the narthex to collect them through August 6. Thank you for your generosity!
It is in darkness and silence that abuse occurs and all too often it is only later that we realize that there were symptoms. Lay ministry volunteers, parents and catechists are in a special position to recognize signs of potential abuse suffered by children, the elderly or vulnerable adults, and bring it into the light. Won’t you join us in proactively protecting our most vulnerable community members? On Saturday, February 25, we will host safe environment training here at the church. All are welcome! Please pre-register online.
