Prayers, Examination of Conscience, etc. for reconciliation service at home in the face of COVID-19

In addition to the Sacrament of Confirmation, this weekend our parishioners who have been preparing through the RCIA will be receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time!
13 Youth of our parish have spent many months studying, praying and discerning God's call in their lives. Please pray for them as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 23.
On Monday of Holy Week, local scripture scholar Art Zannoni will give an evening presentation called "Breaking Bread with Jesus: Meals in the Gosepls." All are welcome!

Attached is the announcement from the Archbishop's notice with regard to a dispensation from Friday Abstinence on St. Patrick's Day. It is worth noting that participation in our Lent Three-Day Event would constitute a "work of charity or piety."
It is in darkness and silence that abuse occurs and all too often it is only later that we realize that there were symptoms. Lay ministry volunteers, parents and catechists are in a special position to recognize signs of potential abuse suffered by children, the elderly or vulnerable adults, and bring it into the light. Won’t you join us in proactively protecting our most vulnerable community members? On Saturday, February 25, we will host safe environment training here at the church. All are welcome! All are invited to join us for "The Nations Await Their Savior," an Advent program hosted by our Faith Formation Families. The event will feature special foods and traditions from around the world.
We are offering the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick this Saturday, November 7, after the 5:00pm Mass, and Sunday, November 8, at 10:00am, in the church sanctuary. The Anointing of the Sick is intended for those who are in danger of death, facing terminal or grave illness, or are advanced in age. All who would like to receive this sacrament are welcomed to join us at one of these liturgies.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process of spiritual and education formation for adults who seek to become full members of the Roman Catholic Church through conversion of mind and heart. If you are interested, or have questions, please contact Cindy Nedved. Classes with Cindy and Fr. Mark will be held on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, beginning September 10 and continuing through the spring. All are welcome to come and learn more - there is no obligation for those who are inquiring into the program to complete the process.
