Prayer for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week

The liturgies of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Holy Week are not unimportant. We continue our movement toward the Sacred Triduum with very poignant prayers and scriptures. The Old Testament readings for these days are the first three of four of the Oracles of the Suffering Servant: service, sacrifice, and exaltation of the Servant of the Lord, the Messiah.

For a number of years, it has been part of our Holy Week tradition to reflect on the scriptures with Art Zannoni. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to gather for that reflection this year, however, Art has provided us with a brief reflection for our prayer as we re-encounter the Passion narratives.
